   Kooker Technologies (KT) is a privately owned small business that designs and manufactures custom hybrid microcircuits. We also provide a wide variety of microelectronic services that are rare, everything from dynamic piezo sensor or crystal design to rad hard ASIC’s, often with creative assembly/process techniques.

  The circuit displayed is a good example of a typical project. The application was for military test equipment with demanding requirements for power dissipation and small size. The module was fabricated using a BeO substrate, inexpensive edge-clip leads with high temp solder, direct Gold-Silicon eutectic attach of bare backed custom ASIC die to DuPont gold, mounted in a dead-bug configuration to allow a rear heatsink, providing less than a .1 degree C rise per watt thermal impedance. These sold for less than $350.00 in thousand piece quantities - only the ASIC customer supplied.
